WordPress has made some changes and now I’m all confused. That’s what I get for not updating this thing for almost a month. There isn’t much to update. TNG and I have been going out at lunch and taking photos. We’re planning a “double date” of sorts to baseball games and soccer matches. I’m trying to decide if I want to become a season ticket holder to the theatre. There are three musicals coming to town that I really want to see. They’ll probably sell out as soon as they go on sale.
Our fifth wedding anniversary is coming up. We have the time off, but we’re not doing anything special. We are going to go visit my parents for a few days. We haven’t seen them since Octoberish?
The Hawks ended their season with 11 wins. The final win was especially sweet as we won in a shootout. The winning goal was an almost impossible behind-the-back shot. Awesome. Hopefully we’ll be blessed with new owners and a renewed love of the game next season.
Bossman came up to me yesterday and said, “now this is a real hockey team.” He handed me the sports page from the paper up in Everett (featuring a cover story on the Silvertips). I told him I would have to quit on principle alone.
