Something is up with bossman. He’s been in a good mood for three weeks straight. This is completely unheard of. He has only been grumpy once and that was for about 30 seconds. We really don’t know how to handle this. Usually he’s in a good mood for only 30 seconds every 3 weeks.
I would take this moment to apologize to B for asking another man if he wanted to cuddle. The only reason I said it was to see what kind of reaction I would get. I do this sort of thing all the time. Mostly because people don’t expect me to say certain things. It’s been like this pretty much my entire life. Here at work I have told one person to take off his shirt (in my defense, the office was really hot and he had a undershirt on); told Big Cheese that if she stuck her butt in my face one more time, I’d poke it; today Bossman was having Big Cheese add some things to a site plan and said, “here I want Block, Sex” and then I started laughing and Big Cheese laughed and told me to shut up; and then yesterday I asked Board of Directors if he wanted to cuddle. The back story to that: I haven’t been feeling very well the past week and yesterday was a really bad day. When I get like that all I want to do is cuddle with B and watch TV. I mentioned that yesterday to Big Cheese and Board of Directors and then just looked at him and said, “do YOU want to cuddle?” He responded with one of the best shocked looks I’ve ever seen. My job can be very satisfying sometimes.
We’ve discovered that Board of Directors doesn’t really know how to take Big Cheese and me. We aren’t scared of him and always tease him. He’s not used to it.
Our friend from Canada is surprising her family by visiting two weeks earlier than originally planned. This is great except I haven’t finished the present yet! So if you need me this weekend, I’ll be very busy. I always work best at the last minute, though. It’s a trait I perfected in college.
The Amazing Race. It’s not bad this season. I don’t have a favorite yet, but I do like the female on the Kentucky Goth team.
